Another part of Winston-Salem is seeing softer demand and more choice
The biggest shift in this part of Winston-Salem right now is inventory. The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 92 homes for sale in ZIP 27101 in the three months ending August 31, 2026. That is up 64.3% from the same months in 2025. More supply means buyers have more to compare, and sellers have more competition.
At the same time, Realtor.com reported that 20.8% of listings nationally had price cuts in September 2026, the highest share since October 2022. That national trend lines up with what the Real Estate Data Aggregator shows locally. Fewer buyers are competing, and some sellers are adjusting their prices to match.
